This song was made by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. But essentionally McCartney made it. Main vocalist of this song is Paul McCartney.
Because Paul would try to make "Let It Be" as a piece of  gospel music. He asked Billy Preston, a keyboard performer, what he would do if this song is a gospel. And based on the idea of Billy,
Paul made htis song introducing a gospel-style organ and chorus.
This song was recorded in the last beatles' album "Let It Be", the sound track of the movie  "Let It Be". In this film two big things are shown. They are "Get Back Session" that beatles did in 1969, January and "Roof Top Concert" that was beatles'last live performance. "Get Back Session" was held at Paul McCartney's idea. After beatles stopped the concerts in 1966, they released the album "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club" and ther had an steady reputation. But after their manager, Braian Epstein, has died, unity as the band was going to be weak. And most songs in "White Album" that was released in 1968, are made and sang by each beatles member. Because in this situation Paul felt a sense of crisis, he suggest an idea that to get back their starting point, they held the session and concert in front of many audience as ob old. Although other member were interested in it, they immediately show disagreement about the size, contents and time.
"Loof Top Concert" was held to make a film at the last scene in the roof top of beatles'bill without a previous. Becouse all of sudden this live performance of famous musicians ,beatles, sterted, on the road and the neiboor roof many onlooker came.Eventually police were comming and they try to let beatles stop to play music. But many people who were related beatles let police stop. After all for 47 minute, the live concert were held. Bud sadly this movie intimated the beatles' dissolution.
