In 1942, on June 6, they auditioned for EMI at Abbey Road studios in London.They played six songs in front of George Martin who is a producer, and they admirably passed the audition. But George Martin frowned on Pete's drum,so Pete was forced to leave THE BEATLES. Instead, Ringo Starr joined as a new member drums of their band. The new BEATLES decided to debut song was " LOVE ME DO " . Their second single " PLEASE PLEASE ME " was reached the top spot of the chats on February 15th. On March 22, they released the album " PLEASE PLEASE ME ". This album really continued to dominate the No'1 spot in the UK. album charts over 30 weeks (8 months) ! They expanded into a UK's living room. On October 13, they appeared on the most popular TV show in UK " Sunday Night at London".and rating had reached more than 50% ! So this TV show was watched by 15 million English people. In 1963, just one year from their debut, they were already a huge success in many countries throughout the UK and Europe. So in 1964, they released " I Want to Hold Your Hand " which is first debut singie in America and reached the top place in America. The debut album in the Amarica " Meet THE BEATLES " recorded 1 spot on the paper " billboard ", and kept 1 spot over 17 weeks. A power of THE BEATLES landed in America did not stop. In the singles chart paper " billboard ", dated Aplil 4, all of the top five songs from 5 to 1 was filled with their songs. This record is unusual and never be broken before or ever after. This record represents the whirlwind of THE BEATLES at that time that can be called abnormal.By the way, that five songs were1. Can't Buy Me Love

Until June 29 from June 4, they performed the world's first tour. In this year, they performed in Denmark, the Netherlands, HongKong, Australia, NewZealand. They appeared on TV show " Ed Sullivan Show " which was popular in America. The episode that " During the 10 minutes that THE BEATLES had been playing, there were no crime of youth in New York " was made in this day. In July, " A Hard Day's Night " which is their first movie was compleated. This movie was druwn on how the live tour of the BEATLES at that time, and it have made known to the world people the charm of THE BEATLES.
